Here are our #Achieve15 Tips

1. Track your activity – You can use several apps for free like Moves or RunKeeper. You can also use a fitness tracker like JawBone or FitBit to monitor your step and how many calories you’ve lost.

2. Walk on Air – Obviously we can’t walk on air, but walking on air means getting on the elliptical machine and burning those calories.

3. Interval-train – Changing your running pace will boost your metabolism and keep you from getting burnt out of the same exercises every day.

4. Go plyo – Jump ropes to a child is a toy. However, a jump rope is also a plyometric training weapon that burns lots of calories and fast.

5. Make pressure-free promises – Commit to exercises that you can still do when things come up, because if you have children you can guarantee something will come up.

6. Follow Fartlek – a Swedish word meaning speed play, Fartlek training means you can randomly add sprints into your workout when you’re strong enough to do so.

7. Rock a vest – Adding weighted items while you workout increases the amount of calories you burn.

8. Change your scenery – Remember that rut I mentioned above, avoid it by changing where you workout. You can always virtually travel anywhere with Google Maps on iFit.

9. Escape your cubicle – Instead of grabbing a snack, go outside and get some fresh air. You’ll burn calories walking and won’t gain any from boredom eating.

10. Watch your heart rate – The intensity you’re putting forth in your workout is measured by your heart rate. Make adjustments where necessary and train smarter.

11. Strength-train – You can add strength-training to your cardio and build more lean muscles which helps you burn more calories.

12. Get competitive – If you share your workout states with everyone you know, either they can trash talk or you can, but either way you’ll push yourself harder. Why do you think Crossfit works so well?

13. Add incline – When you’re walking, jogging or running up a hill or an incline you’ll burn more calories and FitStudio.com will reward you at the top.

14. Walk on water – Rowing is a great exercise so unless you’ve got some serious connections upstairs, sit on down and row, row, row your boat, or your machine. :)

15. Reward yourself – Treat yourself when you’ve accomplished your goals. Sears FitStudio.com  shouldn’t be the only one rewarding you for staying fit.
